Go from zero to a live website.
Your own server, built with Claude.
No server experience needed. By the end, you'll have a real computer on the internet running a website you built with Claude, live at your own web address, locked behind HTTPS.
What you'll actually have at the end
Not a toy. A real, working website that anyone in the world can visit โ the same way big companies put things online, just smaller and cheaper.
Your own server
A small computer you rent that stays on 24/7, connected to the internet, ready to run your projects.
A real app you built
A personal page, a link-in-bio, or a small tool โ created step by step with Claude helping you write the code.
Your own web address
Something like yourname.com that points to your server, with the little padlock (HTTPS) that means it's safe.
It stays alive
Set up so it restarts by itself after a crash or reboot โ and you can back it up so nothing is ever truly lost.
Live in five moves โ watch each one
The whole journey, animated. Each move is a module or two, and no step is bigger than the one before it.
Rent your server
Spin up a real computer that never sleeps โ powered on in about twenty minutes.
Connect & lock it down
Step inside over SSH, then bolt the doors with a firewall and secure keys.
Build it with Claude
Describe what you want; Claude writes the code and explains every line as it goes.
Go live with HTTPS
Point a domain at your server and get the padlock โ free, automatic, forever.
Keep it running
It restarts itself after a crash or reboot โ and you back it up so nothing's lost.
๐ Who this is for
Anyone comfortable using a computer โ clicking, typing, browsing the web โ who has never touched a server or a "command line" before. If words like SSH, terminal, or Nginx sound like a foreign language, you're in exactly the right place.
๐ What you need first
A laptop or desktop (Mac, Windows, or Linux), an internet connection, a way to pay a few dollars for the server, and an Anthropic account so you can use Claude. That's it. We'll set up everything else together.
One VPS that runs everything in this course โ with room to grow
You can use any provider. But if you'd like a simple "just tell me which one," here's our pick: enough power to run real projects (often several at once), not just this course.
- ๐ง 2 vCPU coresroom to multitask
- ๐พ8 GB RAMapp + database, comfortably
- ๐๏ธ100 GB NVMefast, roomy storage
- ๐8 TB bandwidthtens of thousands of visits
Referral link โ costs you nothing extra, helps keep the course free.
With 2 cores, 8 GB of memory, and fast storage, this one server can run:
Several live websites
Many sites and domains on one machine at the same time.
A real full-stack app
Website, backend, and a database running together.
24/7 bots
Discord/Telegram bots and schedulers that never sleep.
Self-hosted tools
Your own file cloud, blog, password vault, automations.
A small game server
A Minecraft world for you and friends fits nicely.
AI & automation
Agents, scrapers, and cron jobs around the clock.
See everything you can build on it, and the honest limits โ
Your step-by-step journey
Each module is short and builds on the last. Do one, take a break, come back. You can't break anything you can't fix.
Every scary word gets explained the first time you see it.
Servers come with a mountain of jargon: SSH, root, firewall, port, DNS, reverse proxy, systemd. In this course, each one is explained in plain English with a real-life comparison, and collected in the glossary so you can look anything up anytime. If a sentence ever confuses you, that's a bug in the lesson โ not in you.
Honest answers to fair questions
Do I really have to pay money?
Reading every module is 100% free. To follow along with a real live site, you rent a server. We recommend the Hostinger KVM 2 plan at $13.99/month because it has real headroom to run several projects โ though smaller servers start around $5/month if you'd rather. A web address (domain) is optional and costs roughly $10โ$15 for a whole year. You only pay while the server exists, so you can pause anytime.
Is this going to be too technical for me?
No. That's the whole point. We assume you've never opened a terminal. Every command is shown exactly, explained in plain words, and you can copy it with one click. Claude does the heavy lifting on the code; you stay in charge and learn as you go.
What is Claude Code, exactly?
Claude Code is a version of Claude that works right inside your terminal and can read and write files, run commands, and help you build software step by step. You describe what you want in plain English; it writes the code and explains what it did. Module 6 sets it up from scratch.
Can I break something expensive or dangerous?
Not really. The server you rent is separate from your own computer, so mistakes stay contained. If a server ever gets into a bad state, you can wipe it and start fresh in about a minute. We'll also set billing alerts so a surprise bill can't sneak up on you.
How long does the whole thing take?
Most people finish in 6 to 8 short sessions โ an evening here, a lunch break there. There's no timer. Everything you build is saved, so you can stop after any module and pick up later exactly where you left off.
Everything above is free to read, right now.
No email wall, no drip sequence โ just open Module 0 and start. When you're ready to make it real, grab the recommended VPS and build alongside Claude.

Module 0 is the gentlest possible start โ no server, no code, just getting your bearings.
